What types of events do you host?

We host weddings, parties, and corporate events. Contact catering@mylahore.co.uk or call 01274 952 111.

What’s the guest capacity?

We cater for 250 to 700 guests.

Is equipment (cutlery, crockery, etc.) provided?

Yes, we provide all standard service items.

Do you offer waiting staff?

Yes.

What services are included?

We offer dessert parlours, live stations, candy carts, and more.

Is food cooked on-site?

Yes.

Do you have disabled access and parking?

Yes, including disabled toilets and access.

Are prayer and baby changing facilities available?

Yes.

What are the payment options?

BACS, cheque, or cash only. No phone payments.

Are your prices inclusive of VAT?

No, VAT is added separately.

Is alcohol served?

No.

Do you offer gluten-free options?

Yes.

Is the oil vegetarian-friendly?

Yes.

Is the meat halal?

Yes.

Do you use GM products or MSG?

No GM. MSG not added, but may be in some ingredients.

Are pasteurised eggs used?

Yes, where required.

Are you HMC certified?

No, but all meat is 100% halal and UK-farmed with full traceability.

Do you offer segregated weddings?

Yes we do.

Is a bridal suite available?

Yes, we have a bridal room located in the BMHC. Spacious enough for approx 10- 15 people.

Is there a room for grooms?

No.

Can we book The Marquee for longer hours?

Yes, with additional cost for whole day with flexible hours. But you have to finish by 10pm.

Is a music system provided?

Yes.

Can we book our own DJ?

No. We provide full event management, including announcements.

Is stage and décor included?

Décor is extra and provided by Elegant Events Management only.

Can we book external décor or suppliers?

No, we work only with approved suppliers.

Do you do wedding rehearsals?

Yes we do a run through of the wedding

What happens with leftover food?

You may take it home; please bring your own containers.

Do you serve the wedding cake?

Yes, we can serve the cake to guests.

Do you offer outdoor Nikah ceremonies?

Yes, weather permitting.

Can we bring our own favour boxes?

Yes, you may bring your own.

What time should we put for guest arrival on invites?

Please discuss timings with your event coordinator.

Is the Molvi arranged by you?

Please check with The Heritage Centre directly, or you may arrange your own.

Common questions we get asked specifically about The Glass Marquee venue.

What’s included in the venue hire?

Packages include the marquee, tables, chairs, lighting, on-site staff, catering, events management, and prayer facilities. Additional services available on request.

What is the venue capacity?

Up to 450 seated guests and 600 standing, depending on layout.

Is catering included?

Yes, in-house catering is provided by MyLahore.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

We don’t serve alcohol but can refer you to trusted suppliers.

What are the event timings?

Standard slots are 11am–4pm or 6pm–11pm, with extension options subject to availability and fees.

Do you provide décor services?

Décor is exclusively handled by Kaka Events, our trusted partner.

Is parking available?

Yes, we offer on-site parking for 400 vehicles.

Are bridal/preparation suites provided?

Yes, we provide a private preparation room for both bride and groom.

Do you offer packages or à la carte pricing?

We offer both set packages and customisable options.

What is the deposit and payment policy?

A 25% deposit is required. Full payment is due 6 weeks prior to the event.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation terms vary – please contact us for details.

Are confetti, fireworks, and open flames allowed?

Outdoor confetti/fireworks are not allowed. Indoor confetti (fake petals), fireworks, and drum players are permitted via our in-house services.

Do you provide on-the-day coordination?

Yes, our event manager will coordinate your event from start to finish.

Can we book a tour?

How far do you travel for events?

We offer nationwide coverage across the UK.

What’s the minimum and maximum number of guests you cater for?

We cater for events ranging from 150 to 5,000 guests.

Do you offer different catering packages?

Yes, we do. Please visit our website for more information.

Is cutlery, crockery, glassware, table linen provided?

Yes, all standard catering equipment is included.

Do you provide waiting staff?

Yes, we do.

What additional services are available?

We offer dessert parlours, live cooking stations, candy carts, pancake stations, and more. Please contact an event manager for details.

Are you on the approved supplier list for venues?

We are approved at most venues across the UK. If there’s a venue we’re not on the list for, let us know and we’ll contact them.

Do you cook on-site?

Yes, we prefer to cook fresh on-site whenever possible.

Are your staff trained in food safety?

Yes, all staff are trained in basic food and health safety.

How do you accept payments?

We accept BACS, cheque, or cash. We do not accept payments over the phone.

Are your prices inclusive of VAT?

No, all prices are exclusive of VAT.

Do you serve or sell alcohol?

No, we do not.

Do you cater for special dietary needs (e.g., gluten-free, nut-free)?

Yes, we offer both gluten-free and nut-free menu options.

Is your oil suitable for vegetarians?

Yes.

Is your meat/chicken halal?

Yes. All our meat is 100% halal, sourced through verified UK supply chains.

Do you use genetically modified (GM) ingredients or MSG?

No GM products are used. We do not add MSG, but some ingredients may contain traces.

Do you use pasteurised eggs?

Yes, where egg is used, it is always pasteurised.

What vegetarian options are available?

Please refer to our menu for our current vegetarian offerings.

Do you support charity events?

Yes, we review charity requests on a case-by-case basis. Please email info@mylahore.co.uk with your proposal.

Are you HMC registered?

We are not HMC registered, but all meat and poultry are strictly halal and UK-farmed, with full traceability.
